The Little Girl Who Fed Trees Bread

   Hello! My name is Hannah Poon and I am junior at Savannah College of art and Design!! My major is Animation and my concentration is story and concept. ​

   Since I was a kid, I have had a knack for creating stories. For hours, I would sit in a chair, inventing adventures in which I would play with my imaginary friends. My very first character was Kay, who had long brown hair and a poofy blue and yellow dress with red socks. She clambered after me whenever I ran around on the playground and always sat on the swings next to me if I was alone. However, she often disappeared when a real person took the empty swing.
   I scribbled Kay everywhere: on my homework margins, my folders, and the elementary school desks (I got in a lot of trouble). Kay would run around and offer bread to trees. In my little mind and eyes, this made perfect sense. ​​

   As years passed, Kay eventually faded away and other characters appeared, I enjoy drawing my stories out and creating concepts. I also have a keen interest in creating backgrounds for animation! 

   Feeding bread to trees doesn't sound too logical. But that is where I started, and I've grown since then. I have walked a while, and now I stand at the base of a mountain with nowhere to go but up. If I look over my shoulder, I can still see Kay looking at me, smiling. I don't want to lose sight of her or my other creations, So I'm going to work hard for my dream!!
